brendan shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!1 well, it was quite a shock to me. i waited outside band room to see him, and i first saw his bassoon then saw him, and i realized that was brendan, but couldn't get over the fact that the face had no hair on it. anyway, i think he should stay shaven, or if he wants beard, at least keep it trimmed and neat.
funny reactions to brendan:
mme girondel: brendan walked in w/ sunglasses, cap, hawaiian shirt, jeans...mme looks at him for a few seconds and says, "who are you? take off the sunglasses." so brendan does that and she still looks puzzled, so she says, "take off that cap," so brendan does that, but she still looks at him and says "I still don't know who you are." brendan smiles and said something in french and she realized from his voice. then sarah girondel walked in and couldn't figure out brendan's identity either.
mr armstrong: sara points to brendan and asks mr armstrong, "who is he?" mr armstrong stares at brendan for about 10 seconds and finally, in disbelief, points to where brendan usually sits and says "the...the kid who sits here"
ppl in physics class: most thought brendan was nathan pierce.
howard: howard came late into physics class and walked up to me, and i pointed to brendan and asked "have you seen brendan yet?" howard looks at brendan and glances around and says, "did he skip today?"
dan wang: brendan, binoy, raheem, and i were sitting at table in library. dan wang walks up to the table and starts talking a/b math hw and about 5-10 minutes into our talk, he jumps back in shock. he then says, "whoa! that was brendan the whole time. i thought he was evan jenkins or someone like that." then continues to stare at brendan's face in shock
mr brown: when brendan usually shows up to english, mr brown is always outside to greet him with a "good morning brendan" or something of that nature. yesterday, however, brendan walked by mr brown and into the englsih room without a word from mr brown. then, from what i heard from binoy, binoy's three phase reaction: 1. who is taht kid? 2. whoa, that's brendan 3. WHOA!!! apparently, most ppl in brendan's english class didn't recognize him
jennifer kan: after being shown brendan, her jaws dropped and stayed that way for a few seconds.

pops was fun...the bloch sucked cuz the second violins were rusing like crazy at the beginning. the shostakovich was pretty good, well, the trupets were kinda weak at the beginning. ET was pretty fun, and i think we did pretty well. before performance, had an interesting time signing yearbooks and playing cello. learned the mike chen cello song...very interesting...actually some chopin farewell or whatever. cello strings are thick and they hurt your fingers if you play for too long...or maybe just that i suck. attempted pachelbel's canon after performance...note the word attempted. yeah, wasn't together and agnes was screeching away on her violin, as yuan always describes. like she really was screeching. when you listen to the whole ensemble, you can clearly hear her horrible playing. at end, played bach's prelude in C, from book 1 of the well tempered clavier, w/ jen kan playign the ave maria voice part, but i couldn't remember the song after the 15th or so measure, so i tried to guess, but mrs haas walked in and complained a/b my playing and said, "moli, go home."

wow, only six people in physics class: james, david, binoy, emily, mike, and myself. wahahahahaha...we're the good students! ^_^ watching stupid physics video, and i think this keyboard is too loud. carsten and tae joon were the only ones who skipped orchestra. aaaaah. btw, charles wheatstone was a musical instrument maker. signal can be kept at same size if voltage is increased over distance. V=IR...i'm sure it's v. interesting to know that.

I hate Heart of Darkness, i really do hate it. grrrrr. english teacher's gone crazy w/ homework assignments on the last fucking week of senior year. I'm not saying we're completely slmping, but she's given more homework than she did FIRST quarter. humph...why do i still do it? i'm a fool.

brendan: oh, it's a very funny story. you'll never believe what happened
me: were you sick
brendan: no
me: oh my god, did you skip because you didnt' do the homework?
brendan: well, not quite. you see, i kinda woke up at 12:30 today and was like, "it's not supposed to be 12:30." So i just decided to skip. anyway, i'll skip today instead of skipping on senior skip day

can't remember how he told me, but he also got across the fact that he had none of his homework done either.

wasted all afternoon playing a computer game my brother got...when i was supposed to be studying for physics. oh well. brendan's folks sent some thing...v. funny pictures of brendan. my mom thought that the baby picture of him crying looked a lot like he does today. looks a lot like adrian...not so much like julian tho...a little bit like linnea, but definitely looks like adrian, i mean i could have easily gotten them confused had i not known this graduation party was for him and should thus have his pictures on it.

okay okay...physics ap...
first of all, found a grave mistake in physics ap review book this morning, so emailed the guy, who's a prof at brown, and he e-mailed me back confirming the mistake.
oaky...now, ap
mechanics multiple choice was fairly easy, but was v. v. v. pressed for time. I roughly did the last 5 problems and skipped the last 2 cuz i had no time. i mean i know how to do them all, but had no time to do them.
e/m mc...wow, let's not talk a/b that. like a set of problems was related to inductors and i had no clue what they were, so kinda guessed on those. and knew nothing a/b magnetic field...learned from the test that it's "B" but still didn't help much. also, they don't give you formula sheet for mc questions
mechanics open response was v. easy and had lots of time...the design your own experiment one was weird...i didn't expect that type of question
and e/m open respone was brutal...well, wasn't that bad. the first one i think i got all correct, the second was on circuits, and i think i missed the capacitor question, but got the others correct. yeah, the capacitor question i wrote down random equations taht involved capacitance and hope that i can get some points for those. it brings me pain to mention the third open response question. oh my...anyway, here it goes. it's a/b magnetic field and inductance and magnetic flux. again, plugged in random formulae and figured out units on calculator. apparently, the unit for inductance is a henry...didn't know taht. drew soem random arrows for the diagram. but i think i have *some* chance of getting a 4 on that section.

Today was Senior Field Day. I had a great time. I played volleyball. Amy has a killer serve. Speaking of killers, Yuan kills zombies and monsters from FFX with trigger happy/slash happy mania.

okay, yearbooks. seniors had fairly good pcitures in general cuz we can choose which ones we want published in yearbook. however, the photographers, i think, are crappy in that they make you smile too much so in many cases, it looks v. artificial. like my picture was one of the proofs for which i didn't grin like a madman.

am screwed for physics ap. oh well, i'll go play piano now to calm my nerves.
mrs bennet: you take delight in vexing me. you have no compassion on my poor nerves.
mr bennet: you mistake me, my dear. ih ave a high respect for your nerves. they are my old friends. i have heard you mention them with consideration these last twenty years at least.

okay okay...amy, at your request, i'm blogging and at the insistence of everybody, i'm over with iambic quatrameter. ^_^

drove down to the RMV in watertown to pick up forms, then my dad took me on their route...i thought it was v. v. easy, but my dad said he'd be a little sketchy to let me pass the test cuz i was a bit too audacious...i mean i didn't kill anyone, but i was on the borderline of being reckless but obeyed all the rules. i missed a turn cuz 1. he was unclear 2. there were three consecutive streets, so i wasn't sure which one and 3. i was a bit too fast going down that hill...but i was w/in the speed limit.

then drove down to burlington to see spider man with amy and originally irene and lisa, but the latter two did not show up. pretty good movie w/ cool fight scenes, but i think a lot of it was ripped from the matrix like the slow motion parts, esp dodging projectiles and fists, and also the parts that involved those big jumps across buildings and stuff. i think the sappy romance btw spider man and his friend's gf screwed the movie up, especially at the end. but i think it's worth seeing for the fighting and humor.
