It's been so long since I last blogged. Having an early vacation is like a double edged sword. I'm done with tests and stuff early and can bug high school and college friends about finals, but the downside is nobody is home. :-(
Just happy that finals are done. Week and a half between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break were hectic. Jane and I decided to become study buddies and basically transform ourselves into Jerome, which constitutes sitting down and studying any time we're not eating or sleeping. Eating meals together, we basically spent at least 18 hours a day together, sadly, only about 10 of those studying (the rest goes to food and pool :-D). But it's finals are finally over! It's gotten to the point where I no longer cared much for how I did, but was rather desperate to get them over with. How sad...
Vacation has been pretty uneventful. Got tickets to see Lord of the Rings. Did some Christmas shopping, but still far from finished. Saw Master and Commander with Jerome. It's interesting that I didn't particularly like the movie, but critics gave the movie high marks. Maybe I failed to see some big point in the movie. I saw it mainly as just another war movie. I'll give it credit for some developments in Russell Crowe's character and for his and the doctor's playing against each other, but besides that, nothing about hte movie really captivated me. Does anyone want to see Love Actually with me? I'm hoping to see that while it's still in theaters.
